This recipe is easy, which is pretty much the only kind of recipe I make; especially since home cookin' takes some effort day after day. Add any ingredients you like & make it your own!
Instructions:
Instructions:
- Slice 4 nice quality Italian sausages into bite size pieces. (Sausage from a butcher is great. Definitely get it without BHA/BHT, added nitrites/nitrates, and other yucky stuff.)
- Slice up 1 red onion with the spiral slicer.
- Put them in a big pan on the stove over medium heat.
- Add in some healthy oil. I use avocado oil, butter is fine, too.
- Thrown in some sliced mushrooms.
- Chop up 1/2 a bunch of Italian parsley & add.
- Add garlic, to taste.
- Add any other spices you like.
- While the meat is cooking on the stove, make your noodles with your spiral slicer.
- To cook, add them to the meat or to a separate stove top pan with a little healthy oil again.
- You want to cook the noodles just until hot, which only takes a few minutes. They will be al dente'. If you over-cook them, they'll turn mushy.
- Serve as-is, or with some natural pasta sauce (no added vegetable oils or corn syrup). Enjoy! Source
