Death by Chocolate BTS Poke Cake
Ingredients
- 1 9x13 chocolate cake, prepared and cooled, still in pan
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate syrup or chocolate sundae sauce
Instructions
- Once the chocolate cake has completely cooled, poke 24-30 holes in it using the base of a wooden spoon.
- Pour the chocolate syrup or chocolate sauce over the cake, aiming to fill the holes.
- Cover and chill for a few hours until the cake has absorbed most of the chocolate sauce.
- Spread the cool whip frosting over the cake. Sprinkle the toppings (Oreos, pretzels, chocolate chunks) over the frosting. Drizzle with the magic shell (amount depending on your preference).
- Keep chilled until ready to serve.
